I drew this a looong time ago. I wanted to clean it up a bit but I can't find the photoshop file anymore.

This is an illustration to Bloch's "The unspeakable betrothal"
The story is inspired by Lovecraft's "ths whisperer in the darkness" and I always look at it as the "girlier" version of it.

It always meant so much to me. I read it when I was about 12 or 13, can't remember and, because at that point I had never heard of HPL, I didn't understand anything.
But I kept reading it, when I couldn't sleep, I kind of made a ritual of it. It was so beautifully written and the Migos were described as strange but beautiful creatures. I also used to sleep with my window open, just in case (yes, I was really weird)
So, when I discovered Lovecraft I was like mindblown, because it all made sense suddenly.
